I have several questions about vBulletin

( don't scare, planning to get one owned license as soon as I get the money $$$ :P, now reach $80... )

1) Can I edit features of member per user? Like at certain amount of upload limit or PM size for ABC, but not whole group.

2) I can but expired owned license now right?

3) When will vB 4.0 be release? about some date, if not fix one.

4) Will vB change new template?

Thats all.

1. No, such limits are per usergroup

2. I'm not sure what you mean by this?

3. We don't have an ETA for vB 4.0 currently, we're in the beta phase of vBulletin 3.6 at the moment.

4. Most likely there'll be a new style in the next major release (4.x), but this isn't guaranteed.

For the 2) I mean that do vBuletin allow license transfer for expired owned version?

Yes, you can transfer any owned license. The expiry only pertains to the right to download upgrades and new versions.

Thats mean I can try to buy vBulletin expired license with my $80 now? then when I get another $30, I can upgrade to the latest? Can I do that?

As far as I know, yes, but you need to be really sure the person offering the license for sale really holds a legitimate license. One way is to collect enough data on the license holder, current URL etc, and then contact the vBulletin sales-department to verify the authenticity.

Actually no, expired owned licenses aren't eligible for transfer. Only active owned licenses are.
Here is the full quote from the license agreement:

Jelsoft may, at its discretion, allow you to transfer your license to another party, providing the license:
has not already been transferred in the previous 12 months; and
was purchased more than 3 months in the past.
is an active owned license

Aahh, thanks, Colin, I stand corrected.
