Hey,
Well sorry its later here in the UK. So forgive me if this has already been said.
But I am interested in buying a Vb leased license but I may want to upgrade it to VB owned. Is it correct that if you update within 30 days it will just cost another $85 to make it owned?
If this is the case maybe make this more clear on the sales page
Thanks
Dan

They raised time limit to 60 days otherwise you'd be correct. ;)

Hey,
So If I went owned I would pay a total of $165

You pay 85 now, and then 85 again, so 170, plus VAT for each charge since you are in the UK.

In other words, the owned license is cheaper in the long run. Even if you aren't going to run your community for very long, remember that the owned license is like a lifetime license, which means you'll be able to start up another community if your first one fails.

Hey,
Is there any money back guarantee. And also am I able to use this leased licence on an other project if I remove it from a project I am doing? So as long as its not running on two sites concurrently?

Yes you can close one forum and open a new one as long as the closed one is removed or not accessible to the public.
You are also allowed to install another copy as long as it is for testing features etc.

If you read the license agreement, you'd see that there is no money back guarantee, which is quite common for this type of software and how it is distributed. This is why they offer an admindemo and means for you to check if you are able to run the software.
