Upgrade from 3.0.7

I was considering renewing my access to upgrade to 3.6 when it comes out fully. My question is, if i do this, yes I know i will have to reinstall modifications etc. But I'm not too aware of how SQL works really, will the information, including posts still be there? Or will I have to tell my users they don't have to re-register but Posts will be lost.

Upgrading always retains the current data - users, posts, forums, etc.

it shouldn't be to bad, may take a while depending on the size of your site.

Thanks for the quick response Steve. I'll await the official release of 3.6, im assuming will be at least a month away with all the testing going on.
