When I come to upgrade......

I have 3.6 Beta running on my test forum, and am happy that all my plugins/products work on it.

THEREFORE, when the stable version of 3.6 is released I am wondering whether this method will work on my live forum:

1) Close forum
2) Create mySQL dump for safety.
3) Upload 3.6 files (overwriting 3.5.4 ones in process).
4) Edit config.php
5) Run upgrade script.
6) Revert required templates.
7) Re-customize templates.
8) Upload any seperate images/php files for plugins.

Will that get my forum working on 3.6 proporly? Do plugins/products have to be re-uploaded?

That should work providing there are no changes that affect these plugins. If so, you will need to get the authors to provide an update.
