Hi,
sorry for my english...i've tried to install vBulletin 3.6.0 Beta 1 Forum on my local server (localhost) to test if all goes right.

Installation process it's ok, even if in the first page (install.php) we can read Welcome to vBulletin version 3.5 but except this all it's ok.

Now i have my vBulletin 3.6.0 Beta 1 forum working and the problem arrive when i try to access to Admin Control Panel...i've an Apache Error from Windows XP, it say to me a memory access violetion in a memory that can't be read.

This is only for the main page of Admin CP because for all other page all works fine.

Some additional info:
CPU: AMD Athlon 3000+
OS: Windows XP SP2 ITA
APACHE: 1.3.33
PHP: 4.4.2
MySQL: 4.1.9

I got the same problem!

The problem seems to be when trying to get
http://localhost/forum/admincp/index.php?do=head

Memory access violations are PHP bugs unfortunately. I'd recommend trying the development version of 4.4.3 (though you might have to compile it manually, which is probably an issue).

If it's a PHP bug, then there's no other way around it.
