Hey there everyone...I did not see this anywhere so I am posting.
After what seems to be a clean no problem install, I get this error when attempted to access the admincp or the forums:
vBulletin datastore error caused by one or more of the following:
You may have uploaded vBulletin 3.5 files without also running the vBulletin 3.5 upgrade script. If you have not run the upgrade script, do so now.
The datastore cache may have been corrupted. Run Rebuild Bitfields from tools.php, which you can upload from the do_not_upload folder of the vBulletin package.
Fatal error: vBulletin datastore cache incomplete or corrupt in /includes/init.php on line 208
Any thoughts?
Fresh database, no upgrade, just a clean upload of new 3.6 files.

Are you running an older version of Eacclerator or APC?

Ummm, not sure what that is? Sorry.
I wonder if it has something to do with the new IE beta I am running?
I can't access my control panel either...hmmm

No, do you know if your webhost has any cacheing software enabled at all?

OK I was able to log into my servers control panel on an older version of IE.
Looks like I have eaccelerator, however, it is not installed. Does it need to be?

Try to use Mozilla Firefox, I advise you it is the best...
I faced many problem with IE and the other explorers...

This is _not_ a browser bug problem, lets refrain from classifying it as such.
If you have eAcclerator it would be installed, otherwise you wouldn't have it, can you contact your host and ask them if they have any php acclerating or cacheing software installed?

I have eAccelerator installed now...it was not installed previously. Still facing the same problem. I will contact my host and ask them aout any other software they may have running.

Try disabling eAcclerator.

Ok eAccelarator is off and my server does not have any caching or php accelerators running.
Very odd?

Try reuploading the default vBulletin 3.6 files and re-installing the forums.

If you really did everything suggested here, then please report this in the 3.6 Bug Tracker here:

Ok this time I uploaded everything on my XP Pro system versus my XP 64 Pro system. Also, I ran the installer in an older version of IE and everything seemed to work fine.
Also, this time I uploaded all the files individually versus uploading the zip to the server and then running an unzip via SSH.
I wonder if something is getting messed up with the installer using the new IE beta...is this possible?

Doubtful, I've done installs under OSX and RHE with IE7 Beta 2 as the browser used, the browser is not going to corroupt the datastore.

I know I am pretty clueless when it comes to coding and such, but it might be a good idea to look deeper into possible IE Beta problems. This has nothing to do with vBulletin specifically, but I have ran into a few installations in which I had nothing but problems during the install or upgrade process. My ad server software has upgraded a couple times since I got IE7 and I have had to go back and rerund the upgrade each time with firefox for it to all work correctly.
You guys are the experts, and are most likely correct, but I wouldn't totally disregard this possibility.

I have to agree....I am attempting to do some things in IE beta and they are not working...therefore, I am wondering if the browser is doing something funky during install. I am by no means an expert so if you say it is not I believe you, however, wanted to let you all know :)
