offline vBulletin editor

I tend to write long posts on a vBulletin forum over a period of days. Is there an editor out there that will allow me to write, save, and format my posts locally on my machine and then copy and paste to the forum? Or maybe a converter from RTF to vB code.

It looks like someone asked this question back in 2002 (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37546), but it didn't go anywhere.
