I have decided to call the next version 1.1.1 rather than 1.1.0a - let's forget all those fiddly little letters. What you see on these boards is what I propose to release tomorrow evening, so if you still have problems, please let me know. I have tried to take on board what feedback you have given me so far, and implement as many features as I can. Suggestions for new features should go to the suggestions forum, and bug reports to the Bug Reports forum.

If the Netscape problems have been sorted out sufficiently, I will go ahead with the release of this upgrade tomorrow evening, all being well.

Thanks,
John

As long as the WebTV issues are dealt with...

Also, will upgrading overwrite the templates that I've modified so far?

WebTV issues have been dealt with successfully.

Templates: The upgrade script will provide a list of the templates that have changed since the previous version, and a note on what has changed. What you can do this is view and edit your current template or view the new template. You can then select which templates you want the script to install automatically, and you can do the rest by hand if you wish.

I hope everyone keeps in mind that the Netscape (display problems at least) problems can be fixed with ease, by editing the templates.

Is the password bug fixed in this version?

And also the bug that is escaping the apostophies in my forums name?

Those are the two bugs I would like to make sure are fixed most:)

John-

Since this version is not available yet, could you tell me what to change as far as the WebTV issues? I would really appreciate it.

Their was an extra form action in it that should not have been their. I deleted mine, but forget which one it was. But if you are up to it you can delete the other one (copy that text and save it) and leave the one that has
<FORM ACTION="newreply.php" NAME="REPLIER" METHOD="POST">

This is in newreply, and new posts I think. Again save the old stuff incase of problem. After doing this make sure you can post/reply to a post. If you can this should be fixed.

John feel free to tell me if I am right or not but I am pretty sure I am...

It worked perfectly!

I can not express my gratitude, and I don't know why I didn't catch that. Oh well, now I have a dozen angry WebTV users off my back! :)

I am eagerly awaiting the release of this one for the escaping of characters problem the current version has:)

If this is going to be delayed at all then can you please post the code to fix that specific bug John? Not trying to be pushy, but I have announced the move and have it all set up waiting is all:)
