Impex Attachments

Second thing I've experienced while importing from 3.0.7 to 3.5.4 is that attachments from the database in the old version to attachments in the new database fail. I was not able to import them that way... is that a known issue and is there a solution to it...

I thought of the following solution: first convert the images to be saved on the server... then import them in the new installation as files located on the server .. then convert them to db-files again.

I couldn't quite follow this. However there should ne no problem importing attachments that are in the database. Did you do anythging else, such as backup and restore the db?
