1-If I host vBulletin on my personal server, do I need certain versoins of PHP/MySQL, or can it be the latest versions?
2-Everything provided by vBulletin, as far as resources go, are free, correct? I went to a site, that was selling vB/IPB/phpBB skins, so that confused me.
3-This may be more of a personal issue, but can I host multiple domains on the same server, along with multiple forums? I'd say it'd be 100 GB at max, whcih is really pushing it-the file size I'm saying. And if I do host multiple domains, do I have to re-install Apache for each?
By Multiple Domains I mean: http://www.get.com http://www.post.com
Not: http://s1.get.com/test http://s1.get.com/dude
(I'm assuming the 'Not's would be just different folders...)

1. you can use any current version of mySQL/PHP. I'd suggest no older than PHP4.3.4 and mySQL 3.x, although the newer the better ;)
2. vBulletin.org is the place to get all the free hacks/styles once you have a license. However there is nothing preventing others from selling their own styles outside of vbulletin.org; so in a quick answer: free & paid
3. each license is only for 1 set of vBulletin files. so, if you have 2 domains that are the same exact content (and files) I believe you can use 1 license. but if they have multiple sets of vB files.. regardless of it's on the same server, you need a license for each.

1. Actually the minimum versions are currently:
PHP 4.3.3
MySQL 4.0.16
Recommended are:
PHP 4.4.2 or 5.1.2 or later
MySQL 5.0.19 or later
3. You can host multiple domains on one instance of apache. If you have multiple forums you'd need a license for each instance of vBulletin though.

Thanks, and I know about the license. It's really worth paying for it, instead of getting sued for copying files.
With the last question, I just want to get this clear. Say that all vBulletin Employees have a blog, for each of them, all with different domains. You could host all of that, plus vbulletin.com/vbulletin.org, assuming that the hard-drive of the computer you had apache on. (Let's just say your useing apache, over a real server) Is that correct?

You could host yourself on your own server at home, but I wouldn't recomend it for alot of reasons.

Any Specifics? I really don't want to have to pay around $200 a year-two years for a good hosting option, which is why I'm intended on doing self-hosting.

Most ISP's prohibit this, and unless you have a static ip things are harder.
Hosting from home requires lots of upload bandwidth. Unless your upload speed is 1mbit+ more than a few people online would be awful slow.
10 bucks a month for a GOOD host is nothing compared to all of the hassle of hosting at home.

That makes sense, so I think i'll take it into consideration. And, another thing, which I have previously asked.
I pay for the board and whatever else during the year 2007. I don't pay for upgrades from 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012. Say the price is at $100, like it's raised on New Year's day of 2013. I pay the $100 for the upgrade that came out that day, 5.6.9. I had 3.5.4 at the start of 2007 though. Would the $100 that I payed, apply for the entire 2013 year, or just that upgrade?
Note: The numbers above and just random.

If you choose to hold off on renewing, at this point in time, it would only cost the the renewal fee for renewed download access. So right now if you waited 5 years, and then renewed on current prices, ti would still be 30 dollars.
On self hosting, another thing to considering is not just apache, but mail servers etc. On all of that a good line to host on (something like 2/2) might be 80+USD a month. I had 8/1 for 80 a month. I could have hosted a very small server on that
