vbulletin and Yahoo hosting

I have yahoo hosting, are there any known compatibility issues with vbulletin and yahoo hosting services?

Yes. First insist that they put you on a Linux server instead of a Windows one. Then once you are a customer there's a couple of extra things you may need to do to get attachments and email working properly.
