Encrypted Passwords

Would it be possible to implement encrypted passwords into vBulletin. Currently all the passwords in the user table are plain text and that is very unsafe. Encryption is also easy to implement.

Though the question is regularly asked, the answer is never particularly encouraging :(

I'll do this as a hack at some point. No time for the next few weeks, but if it doesn't make the active projects list, I'll make it so that I can never upgrade again easily again...
