How does vbulletin compress pages and how would I use it on my PHP pages?

vB compresses pages?
Or are you talking about Zend?

Zlib was installed with PHP but how do I take advantage of it in my site? any special compression tags or something? Or does it automatically compress PHP pages?

for non vB pages you'd need to install mod_gzip http://i4net.tv/marticle/get.php?action=getarticle&articleid=12
