[fixed] error editing profile when 'require unique email' is set to yes

"Require unique email addresses" set to Yes:

When I (or any of my users) try and update their profile we get the error message:



There is already a member with that email address, and the administrator has required that all users must have unique email addresses. If you already have a username and have forgotten your password, please click here.


"Require unique email addresses" set to NO:

Everyone can edit their Profile with no problems...

Just ran into this problem on vb 2.0.3. Once I set require unique emails to "no" it worked fine.

System:

RHlinux 7.1
MySQL 3.23.41
Apache 1.3.19

Thanks Kevin! I have been dying to turn "require unique email addresses" back on but can't until this is fixed.

I can not confirm this and find it to work as designed.

You can have this problem if you imported from UBB which often has multiple users with the same email address.

'Fix' implemented that if you are not actually changing your email address, then you will not see this error message.
