I'm planning to develop a web directory site. I mean services site in which I'll post information about our country, contact addresses of hotels, locations of restaurants, car renting agencies, etc etc. Are there any free (or paid) scripts that are desgined specifically to meet requirements for such kind of sites?

I'm looking into database based system for this, & it's also important to be customizable & can be localized to any other language using phrases or translations files (or at least the ability to build them).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Would you please provide a link to the script home page? I found phpMyDirectory which is paid service, but I'm not sure it is what you've mentioned.

Thanks.

Oh.. I didn't notice the edit. I visited the site, not bad but it seems a limited script. phpMyDirectory (http://www.phpmydirectory.com) has got much more features that I'll most proabably go for it if I didn't find something more powerful.

Thanks NicksForum.net (I prefer Lead Weight, btw  ).

LEAD_WEIGHT is my gamer tag and NicksForum.net is my Uncle. We now have our own community of online gaming without using the internet as you see it now. My friends and family belong to a members only internet service and does not rely on isp for service anymore. We play xbox online for free on our service and does not have any slows downs or timeout/lag, well we are only 100 members with xbox and over 1500 community online.

I hope to see more powerful antenna when I get older.

I got confused really. What I understood is that you're running a community through some kind of wireless WAN, right? Well, I think running a forum through a network without connecting to the Internet is interesting.

My Internet connection is wireless. I use a system by Wavebolt.
