Wow... It estimates a text link on Google costing $60,000 a month! It recommends I charge $9 a month on my own site.

We got a professional to handle all our web site ads. He takes a 20% cut as his fee, we get the rest. Our cut covers all the annual server lease fees, with firewall, backup etc, and VeriSign. That's about £7k pa.

We have a few banners on premium pages and text links in the footers of all 4000 web pages.
