Paid Subscriptions?

How does everyone use paid subscriptions? I like the idea but does anyone successfully use it. What type of content is in this forum they get access to?

Paid to subscribe is old news, I rather see pay per view as a feature to threads and posts. I hate to move members around and move them back again, that is not a good clean way to do things on a board.

I want to use it for media files of all types.

I already seen this on SMF boards...

Yes, it is old news. I've done it before, however, with the built in subscription model in VB now I wanted to take advantage of it. However, I think having mroe PM storage space would be better etc. Is there an easy way to do this and still keep it automated?

Couldn't you just add a new usergroup, give it all sorts of new features, then have vB move the user who bought the subscription into the secondary usergroup automatically?

More PM storage space works easily, simply move users to a usergroup that has more PM space :)
