Date of first post

Why there is no option for the day of first post just like the last post date and time now?

When I view the threads list I sometimes want to see when the thread was started before I click on it. I cound be put under the thread starter link just like the last post date is now under the last poster link.

I think in some situations it would be very helpful. For example for bug fixes forum seeing the thread start time will tell you if the problem is reported for the old bugs or for the new ones.

I'm wanting to display this as well. Have searched through this forums and found five other threads on this same topic, there's no replies on any of them though :(
