i have a couple forums/servers that i manage that are nearing the same capacity as this forum ... can you tell me exactly what setup you are using for this forum and for .org
- server(s) hardware specs
- mysql setup (version & conf)
- php setup (version & conf)
- load balancing options used?

That would save a lot of experimenting (and continued failure)

it will be different for everyone as to what you would need.. best to post your existing info as asked at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=70117 for your servers/forums

my stuff is running fine ... i am asking more out of curiousity. I thought if i said i was having problems that you would be more inclined to post :D

ive got a feeling they upgraded something on thier setup yesterday or today, it was well slow yesterday morning but it seems fine now, with more users online...
