Anyone have any good places that use paypal that also provide ideal hosting for a small forum at present 500+ members (To go large) at a great price?

Used some companies in the past but they were useless, and my current one which is ace is closing :(

Been looking at a users sig and these look good: http://www.mjwebhosting.com

This post is in the wrong forum so apologies for that.

I just want a hosting company like my current one that uses vbulleting themselves and / or understand what exactly is needed.

If you want the truth, this free hosting is the best. It has all the requirments for vBulletin, and has 20 GB space, cpanel, subdomain or domain, 200 GB bandwith. This is for 15 posts, and the admin is very quick in making the accounts!

I'll second that. Rodney, their CEO, is a good friend of mine. These guys stay up nights to get issues fixed and they like vBulletin a lot.

PS: Hi Travis!

Given that, I've dropped them a line early in the morning, earlier in the morning and through out the day. Generally, and to be honest, 99% of the time, there is someone online via AIM to speak with.

While I don't know them personally, it's nice to see that kind of dedication, which is something most smaller hosts simply can't do.

(by small, I mean smaller than major corporations, they are not a "start-up" by any means).

Check out http://www.webhostingtalk.com

There are tons of web hosts there who can help you out. Any host can offer you web hosting. All you need is a host that offers sql databases, over 10gb bandwidth, and around 250mb of space and you are set for about the first year.

If you have a bit higher budget, look into an economy dedicated server. You should be able to find one for under $100 a month with no setup fee.
