we noticed an automated attack by script, voting on old polls.
we had "Update Thread Last Post on Poll Vote" set to yes, so the index was flooded with old polls.
we banned the user that was used and deactivated the feature, also we already had set up some decent values against flooding, but weŽd like some additional protection, e.g. a setting like "donŽt bump threads and polls older than X"
we have stored all threads and polls since 2000, so thereŽs great potential waking up one morning and someone transformed our forum into bump-o-rama! :)
