A friend of mine has been hosting my board but I haven't been able to contact him in a couple months. And to make matters worse, I haven't been able to access my FTP or Plesk. So no back up. So I guess I'll start with a fresh new board. That sux, but oh well.

Unfortunately I don't know what the bandwidth was or much of the statistics. I guess I just always thought I'd be able to get the statitcs when I needed them. So I don't know how much bandwidth I need. I can say that I have about 7000 members and there's usually between 40 and 60 members on at the same time.

I've read review after review of hosts and still have no clue who to go with. I'd very much like to use ASO, but from what I understand, they'll want to put me on a VPS because of so many members being online at once. That's definitely not in my budget. I was hoping I could get some suggestions on where to turn. I'm definitely picking a company today one way or the other. My members rely on my board too much to leave them hanging.

Its a board for people that work at home. Its very helpful while working. So I gotta do something ASAP.

Any suggestions would be very helpful. I know I'm eventually going to have to figure out how to fund a VPS, but that's not within reach at this moment. TIA!

You always have 40-60 real browsing users online? Not guests?

You are at a borderline between shared and semidedicated-dedicated.

It is a tough area to deal with because the next move you make, you might need to make again.

I don't allow guests. Just registered members. During the night after 10pm and till 10am in the morning its pretty slow. But after that its pretty regular traffic. I know I'm not going to be able to hang on to shared for very long. The board has gotten bigger and more popular that I would have thought.

I use Site5.com. I know they have a good amount of plans. You might want to look into them.

Depending on your rate of growth, you may want to consider going dedicated.

I moved to a dedicated box hosted by layeredtech several months ago and they've been excellent so far, having said that it's worth search any potential provider's forums for signs of trouble first...
