Moving to 3.5.3 is going to be like starting all over again. Now I know why there are still version 2 boards!

Edit: Upgraded and done!

Still using 3.0.8. I was waiting on a skin, wonder if I will need to go to 3.0.12 or if I can just go to 3.5.3. Has anyone had this experience here? Did it go okay?

Thanks for any input

Hello the email notice is a bit confusing (see email quote below)

* Security Information
* vBulletin 3.5.3
* vBulletin 3.0.12
* vBulletin 2.3.9

Does this mean 3.5.2 does not have a security risk?

later in email it says

A recently-discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) flaw in all three branches of vBulletin has prompted us to perform a security update, releasing new versions of vBulletin 2.3.x, 3.0.x and 3.5.x simultaneously.
All prior versions of vBulletin are vulnerable to the flaw

So is 3.5.2 is at risk?
Thanks

Yes, all versions of vBulletin prior to 3.5.3, 3.0.12 and 2.3.9 are vulnerable.

With the exception of any templates listed in the release announcements for 3.0.8 to 3.0.12 that state 'Requires revert: Yes', yes they will work.

A 3.5.3 skin will most likely not work on 3.0.12

Dear Sir /Madam
I have seen your web site and designed forun by your company.I am looking for the most sofisticated forum but simple to use for people with a high capability of graphic and color .when people come to the forum an animated flag appeares depends on the their countries.I am going to set up the forum with Farsi(Persian) language.
It would be highly appreciated if you could instruct me in this regard
how we can add smiley to our forum?.
warm regards
Saeid

Manually... and, depending on how customized a skin is, it may be better to just redo it from scratch. I have found it much easier.
