Another SMF import question

I did read the Vbulletin manual about import before asking this.

I currently own a SMF forum with under 10,000 post but I feel it's going to grow fast so I should upgrade soon.

In the manual it has Tier 1 & Tier 2 for imports
For SMF it has
Tier 1 1.1.x

My SMF is version 1.0.5 is it not a supported import?

The new version of SMF is just 1.1.X but it's a RC & not deamed a final release.

The converter offered is tailored to the 1.1.x version. If you are in doubt, you could install a test backup of your forum, convert it to 1.1.x and then run the vBulletin converter to ensure it goes smoothly.

I'd always suggest backing up before converting anyway to ensure you do not lose any data.

Where there any significant db changes between 1.0.5 and 1.1.x? If not, the importer should work smoothly since it doesn't touch the files, just the raw data in the db.
