merging forums

Hi, I need to merge my new exsisting forums with an old forum thats been going for quite a while. Is this possible?

I currently have 3.5.2 The boards I wish to merge with are 3.0.6
Is it possible ?

I just did this last night. The best way i found was to upgrade so both forums so they are the same version (in your case 3.5.2) and then use the Impex system to import the database into your main forum. Make sure you do some test tries before doing it with a live site and also make backups.

did u upgrade using same db and lisence url ?
is that ok to make a test in diff url using my owned lisence ?

in fact i have ipb 1.3 db i need to convert it to vb then marge them both
how can i do that with 1 owned lisence ?
