Wow, I've never seen that many members in one place. They do seem to be quite quiet though. Check out this board for the biggest overall board that I know (running vBulletin):

you and I are still more active, Jake.
no sweat ;o)
(PS: I had over 220k posts for 45 days until a crash last week)
You have a nice looking set up there :) If not the most active, definitely the most unique.

Gameplay has to be the biggest I have actually seen. Close to 1,000,000 posts and not even all the forums are imported.:)
But you all have some huge forums though :)

I was thinking the same thing... can't image having close to 1million posts, I am still in the several thousand post range (but growing :))

We had 1.5 million posts, but mtSQL choked on it, so I had to prune to 30 days. That's why it looks inactive.

Ours would be around 2 million posts +, but with the UBB I had to prune my board each day back by 3 days. So it wasnt till we switched to vB that I can keep all the posts there.

Our board has around 120k posts, and 9k members. Would be a little more, but we were victims of several "out-of-space" bugs where some threads and member files were trashed. :/
Nathan, drop me a line if you're still interested in some vB hacks (custom styles...on a per forum basis). I figured out a method which should be fairly painless.

my forum recently changed to it's new look and has only been online for 3 weeks !
FFRonin and others should really try Ed's Locations/Interests hack to their forums... my members love it and it's great :D

The gameplay forums started off as the Wireplay forums back in October of 1998 - using the UBB. We've been constantly growing ever since. Here's our current stats:
Number of registered Members: 36,463
Total Threads: 113,346
Total Posts: 974,183
Number of Active Boards: 99
Our largest forum (the Team Fortress Classic board) has over 200,000 posts alone!
Beat that... ;)

Can you pass some of your traffic my way? :)

Hi Nathan,
I run a UBB that has 22 000 members. Yes, it does bog down my server but we have purchased a pretty powerful server with lots of CPU power.
However, before replacing it with vBulletin, we still have alot of work to customize the script.
There is the board:
http://www.hostboard.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi
We will try to have an even bigger board before the end of the year.
