Working with LDAP servers...

In a really, really future version :), would you consider the possibility of teaching vBulletin to understand LDAP servers?

This way, a corporate client ( or a well-paid consultant :D ) could set an entire intranet collaboration forum in a matter of seconds, just instructing vB to build its user db from the usernames and passwords already stored on the LDAP directory.

This feature could open a whole new ( and uncrowded ) market to vBulletin...

Possibly in a very very future version yes. PHP has an LDAP module, so it would be possible. I'll add it to a 'future possibilities' list :)
