I tried to search for the key word, "color" and most of the threads that displayed did not have the word "color" anywhere in them.
Why is that?
P.S. I am 'searching entire posts and "all open forums"
thanks.

The word 'color' is probably in the tags. What's a direct link to one of these threads or posts.

Works for me, what search mode were you using?
Natural language or Boolean search? Its at the bottom of the Advanced Search page.

I used the default settings on these forums and searched for:
color
One of the threads it returned was this one:

Look at the last post with the standard editor. You'll see that it has a lot of color tags, which raises its score when using the Natural Language search.

Ahhh, you're right. I was fooled because the color they chose was black.
