This thread is for discussing the release of vBulletin 3.0.11.

Please use this thread to talk about things you like or installation experiences etc., but please do not use this thread to post troubleshooting queries or bug reports. These threads tend to grow very large and bug reports etc. tend to become lost and will not get attention from the support or development teams.

For troubleshooting and bug reporting, please use either the vBulletin 3 Bug Tracker (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/bugs.php?) for reporting and tracking bugs, or the vBulletin 3.0 forums (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=54) for general queries and troubleshooting.

Thank you for the hard work devs!

For everybody still on vBulletin 2.x or 3.0, I personally recommend 3.5.2!

No big deal, but in the announcement I read:

-------------------------
Patching Instructions

To patch your vBulletin 3.0.3 - 3.0.9 installation, download the zip file....
-------------------------

I guess it's 3.0.3 - 3.0.10 right? I can also use this patch on 3.0.10 I assume?

I guess it is time for me to upgrade to vB3.5.2 from vB3.0.10, I really do not want to, I know I might bugger something up. :(

Does anyone know what template changes are change from vB3.0.11 to vB3.5.2?

Lead Weight,

You could make a mirror setup of your live forum into a new database and a new directory (don't forget to use a new config.php to point to the new details). And then do a test upgrade. You will then find out which issues you run into and have the experience before doing a live upgrade.

Of course, always backup your data before you try anything.

Basicly every template has changed between 3.0 and 3.5 because of new features, new code, new options, new phrases, new variables, bug fixes, etc.

I have notice that my Style's are out of date when I upgraded yesterday, thanks Floris I did just that. My Style's or one of them say that I have to revert 265 templates  . In in my lifetime, I just created one using default as my guild and build on it. 265 edit to make??? I will leave it till next week to figure what I need to replace or add to it.
