Hello,

I'll start off with a small introduction, my real name is Ben, I am fifteen years of age, and I am soon to be starting a website selling skins and themes for Invision Power Board, phpBB, SMF and hopefully, vBulletin.

I am very interested in purchasing your software, but I have a couple off problems, I would greatly appreciate it if you would respond.

I understand that you may only use one license per domain, thats fair enough and I accept that. However, lets say after two weeks, my recently purchased forum withers and dies, and is only visited by the tumble weed. Would I then be allowed to either re-install the software on another domain, delete the software off my old domain then start a brand new community?

I'm sorry, the rules seem well written and clear since most users seem to understand them, I would just like to make sure though before I purchase anything.

Thank you for understanding,

Ben.

I am no admin. I can tell though you that as long as you completely delete ALL of vBulletin of your old site, you should be fine. Just make sure your new domain is entered in the Jelsoft members area. That is pretty much standard. You just can't have 2 copies running at the same time...

Hope that explains it,

David Weiser

You can have two copies running at the same time. One main forum, and a private test forum on the same domain. :p

But the private forum is exatly what it says, "private". I ment you couldn't run one license on 2 domains. But you can delete your install and take you license elsewhere...

You can have more than one domain as long as it points to the same content. Example:

www.vbulletin-fans.com
www.vbulletin.nl

But that's not your question. Answering your question:

Yes. As long as you only have one public version of the forum running it's all cool. Just make sure to edit the url in the members area (you'll see what I mean once you buy it :P)

Actually I think the condition as well is that there's only one set of physical files. I know Floris achieved that.
