im anticipating a lot of traffic on the forums. but at the same time i need something affordable as at the end of the day it is merely an ambitious project.

im considering ROCKETone plan from hostrocket.com or the multisite express plan from site5.com. can anyone vouch for these? thx a lot.

Off the record as a hosting provider myself, I've not heard a great deal of good things about HostRocket in the past. They are a established company and have been around for a while, as has Site5, though the comments vary.

Site5 has been getting a great deal of press lately and are rapidly growing. I've had a few friends host with them and said they were great to work with and the Site5 team was a pleasure to deal with.

Either or, check out www.webhostingtalk.com - I know Site5 is discussed there quite a bit, not sure about HR though.

I can't honestly answer as I'm a bit biased, so it would be a bit unfair to reccomend our services ;). If you have any specific questions, you can PM me directly, but I don't want this to appear as an advertisement here at vBulletin as it is against the vBulletin.com forum rules :).

I use site5 and they are much better then my last host which had nothing but time out errors.

I have been on Hostingplex.com (http://hostingplex.com/) for over 6 months and it has been good for me. If I have a problem I can post it @ the Help Desk or the Forum. It is alot better than the other host I had.

i was about to sign up with them but they have awful user manuals. and i have a lot of questions so customer service is big for me when it comes to choosing a host. i guess site5 is good only if you know what youre doing.
