Hello all-
I have read all the other bug reports, and it may seem weird, but I am glad to see that it is not just me who is having the problems. My only remaining problem is: where can I find all the bug fixes? I've read that they are fixed, but where to find them??? Mainly 1)Netscape Issues 2) WebTV Issues 3) Editing Posts issues
Thanks

I think the lastest is 1.10. If you have anything earlier than that, dl it, and maybe that'll fix what you have a problem with.
I didn't think the netscape stuff was fixed yet... anyone know for sure if it is?

I've got v1.1.0
..but I've also got many disgruntled users. I had to set up a new forum just for help with the new software, plus arrived home from vacation just to find approx 75 emails, the overwhelming majority of which were related to the operation of vBulletin.
I love the product, but my users are beginning to get agitated, and that is what is most important.
I've got WebTV users who can't participate, Netscape users who can't read anything, and a bunch of bad spellers who can't edit. All things considered, my readership has gone the opposite direction from where I thought it would...
In other words, HELP!!!

I haven't really had too many of those problems, although I don't have many Netscape/WebTV viewers.
I do know that most, if not all, of these issues have been addressed in 1.1.0a. John, being that there are so many bugfixes in it, do you have an ETA yet? Seems to be running pretty smoothly now.

I haven't had an editing problem yet... but then again, I'm the only one who has used it so far (haven't announced it or anything). Is it something I should look out for?

I believe he has the Netscape display fixes in it, and also I remember him saying that the Webtv users could now see the forums (correct me John if that is incorrect).
I believe the password problems that arose from the encryption should be taken care of before the release of 1.10a.

The netscape bug is still there. I can't find the open tag thats causing it. I would like to go live with mine replacing wwwthreads on one of my sites but I can't until the netscape thread view problem is fixed. Most of the users use netscape because most of us use Linux as our OS. I only seen the bug today because I have had my Linux box down to upgrade the processors and had been on an NT box with ie5. If I find it I'll post the fix.
Thank you,
Bob

I had it set so that the users could not edit their message after 1 day, or 1440 minutes. Apparently, they would attempt to edit their message right after posting, and it would say they couldn't because the time limit had expired. To temporarily fix this, I removed that setting which I had initially set in lieu of putting "edited by's" when a post is edited.
As far as I know it is working fine now, but I'd like to put it back in effect.

My WebTV users can see the forums with no problem, they just aren't able to post replies. They get a "no forum number specified" error.
Tick, tock...

Right guys. Sorry that you are having so many problems with Netscape and WebTV users. All of these issues should have been sorted in the version that is running on these boards, 1.1.0a. I wanted to run it on here for a few days before releasing it to make sure that there were not any big bugs left. All of the reported bugs have now been fixed, so if you have found any and not reported them, please let me know soonest - this especially includes netscape display problems.
The release will be in the next few days. The majority of problems have been with the actual HTML in the templates, so included in the upgrade will be a number of replacement templates. I'll also post in the announcements forum.

The only thing I'm not sure if you are aware of is the css/text colors in Netscape. All the topic links appear in the default browser color (dark blue usually), despite if it is specified to be otherwise in the CSS or in the HTML code.

The Netscape bug is still here and it's worse than ever. I have it partially fixed on my forum. http://bbs.resource-zone.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=1 to see it. Its a tough one.
Thank you,
Bob

Check this one out for Netscape bugs:

The rest of it may contain Netscape bugs, but I believe I did get them completely out of the forumdisplay:)

I got the majority of them out of forumdisplay as well, but wasn't able to change the extra page colors or the color for the category listing on the index page. I hunted through all the templates but couldn't find anything...

I am not sure what you are speaking of there? They seem to work just like they are supposed to for me.

By extra pages I mean:
Topic
[pages: 1 2 3]
I couldn't get the links to the extra pages the proper color.
As for the categories, it works fine but I need to override it. My links are white, so that makes the categories white as well. But my Category BG is a light-grey, and I need to have the link be a dark blue. It works in IE, but not in NS.
