suggestion for a new feature

i have no idea if anywhan ask for that, but that would be very cool, if the location and the occupation a extra template and if we can see that left under the username/user titel and and and (optional :))

i have a board with 1500 users (now ubb but i will change to vb). i have many swedish users, americans, hong kong, austria, germay and and and.. so i need this feature i would say, ubb have that.

why a template? hmm, i have that board for a onlinegame and there have the player professions and i will have the possibility to change the name from professions to ingame professions or anything else.

thats better, we get a possibel to make a free number with free content that we can show left under the username.

i hope really that come (also the privatemssg hack)

and what i will also tell u, i really love the vb board. i have use a ubb and a vb with the same content (i change from ubb to vb). vb is faster, easyer to configurate and including more features.

Thanks for the suggestion.

The option for editing user titles may be included in the next version as an administrative option.

In the next version, I hope to include user-configurable fields on the members table, so you can do that. At the moment, you could, if you wanted to, hack the code to include the biography in the showthread.php file.

That would be cool another idea would be a zipcode field and then this could determine what timezone they are in if in US, as well as other things in the future like we could use this to make custom start pages for the users etc.

hmmm, if its special for that i see a big problem
what is with all users worldwide?
only a gimmick for the states and maybe canada isnt very cool
better we have the possible to make so many userinfo fields like we will, a free numbers of it

there u can input your zipcodes and another guy can input the cartype from the user or the name from his wife, whatever he want

Speaking of Long biographies, is there a way to limit the amount of characters a person puts into his/her signature? Some of my people are REALLY abusing the feature! It's getting very annoying
