Today when I searched from internet I got this ranking.
http://www.*******ingchart.com/?tith=1&ong=1182
And http://www.************.com/ is the best hosting. I wonder Is this correct? Is it good enough for VB?

Being #1 on some hosting list doesn't mean squat -- and they know it. All they have to do is run ads and get friends-of-friends to vote to get a high rating (or own the list itself).
Now if it had the #1 host rating from WHT, then you'd be getting a true #1 host.

To be honest, and I say this off the record as a host myself, but 500GB's of bandwidth for $12 is near impossible to offer unless you are massively overselling your resources.
Too many hosts are now offering such rediculous amounts it's not even funny. Sure, some of them are financially stable and can most likely take a loss, but the limits some hosts are imposing are a little out of this world.
I've had inquries over AIM and Yahoo regarding the same types and I will tell you the same thing I tell them.
- When the times comes to push 500GB's of bandwidth in a month, do you think they are really going to allow you that much traffic on their shared servers? A great deal of sites never see a mothly usage of 500GB's, which will tell you that you need quite a bit of traffic to hit that limit, or run a solid download website.
Either way, read their TOS and ask questions. If they seem legit to you and you wish to proceed, I wish you the best of luck :).

Precisely. I should take it as a rule of thumb nowadays that the more a host is offering for the less money, the further away you should stay from them. You WILL get what you pay for with any website host.
A good little warning sign is right there on their front page. Unlimited space, they say. So presumably they have discovered the secret of an unlimited hard drive? No, of course they haven't. They can only do two things if your usage gets too much for them - tell you to stop - or - split your resources over onto another server, and I'd really like to see them try that. 500Mb is more than some dedicated servers get, so quite how they manage that I don't know either. By assuming you will never use that much, that's how. They do however own their own datacenter, which might account for their sizable resource allowance, although they are surprisingly scant on the 'tour' section - no photographs of the center and not many details about the resources either.
The review on that website runs like a shameless advertisment, even more so than the actual hosting website itself.
A quick WHOIS enquiry confirms my suspicions and KingSpade's gut instinct - clearly a guy who knows what he's talking about as well - both the review website and the hosting website itself(!!!) are registered through http://www.proxiedsite.com which allows people to hide their personal details from WHOIS enquiries. Aside from the serious questions you should be asking about a host that hides their details, the penny should drop that both are registered via proxiedsite.com. Coincidence? Yeah, right.
Learn a lesson everyone.
You. WILL. Get. What. You. Pay. For.
Sure, you might get very lucky and find a very good, very cheap host. But there's a million bad ones for every diamond in the rough. Personally I think they should sticky a warning about budget hosts. Even the well known ones like Site5, well you've probably read that their servers are starting to crack under the strain of overselling. Too many sites to a server to try and stay as cheap as possible, comes back and bites the customer in the ass. It's an inevitability, the economics simply force it.
Budget at your own risk. Find the best service, then pay for it.

$12 for 10GB/500GB is a joke.
