How strong is vBulletin?

I am looking to make my entire webpage of forum
and entire forum community.
This means around 100 different forums.
around 10,000 posters
And possibly over 100k posts.
Can vBulletin handle that type of pressure?
Will it crash on me?
or ... will it slow down after getting X posts?
Or will the database crash after its 5832 member?
Please let me know if this can handle the wear and tear
of it being the base for a forum site.

After testing it and comparing it to UBB, I will have to say that it could handle anything you throw at it. If I had time, I would continue testing vbulletin till it got to around 300K or 400K posts. I noticed that it slowed down approx .5 seconds per 60K posts. On the other hand, UBB has a problem starting with 70-75K posts.
