vBulletin.com - The Official Site that Offers vBulletin. You can buy vBulletin here.

vBulletin.org - The official code hacking community.

vBAdvanced.com - Third Party site offering Links System/CMPS/Gallery.

vBulletin-Style.com - Unofficial Site runned by Floris, a member of the Jelsoft Support team to demonstrate styles created by third parties :)

What do you think about vbxtra?

2. Link
3. Gallary
4. Quiz

Thanks in advance

vBulletin.org is nothing more but an "add on site". It basically offers cool codes available to make your board unique, easier, etc. :)

Once you buy the vbulletin forum, there are some third party code modifications (both paid and free) that can accomplish what your looking for. You can find alot of the freely available ones at vbulletin.org and you've already found the sites of some of the non-free ones.

It really depends on what your site will be about and what you think you will need. My main site which has been going strong for 5 years is really nothing but the forums although we recently added a gallery to it. For another site I just started, I added the gallery and links directory since its fits in with what I have planned for it. It all depends as I said.

We are stepping a bit outside pre-sales here, but there are some general remarks i can make:
- A board will be as interactive and userfriendly as the members of your community.
- You don't modify boards just for the fun, but because they add something that your members are demanding.
- Start small, build a good and friendly atmosphere, then take it from there.

Just the vb software has not this things, but at vbulletin.org, you can find a chat, a quiz system and probably also a link directory system (all free).

The best vb gallery available is the one of vbadvanced, but it isn't free...
A cheap and very good chat that integrates with vb is tufats flashchat
