Merge 3.07 and 3.5 Gold

We were originally on 3.07. Database was over 4 gigs.
We move to a new hosting company and thought we lost it.

So we started another board with 3.5.

But now we found an older 3.07 DB and would like to merge it with the current 3.5 DB.

Is this possible??

You'd have to restre the database and import it into the 3.5 database, but its possible.

Nope, if you have just the 3.0.x database you can import that into 3.5.

Don't the same userids or threadids fit into one another ? For example; forum X has 1000 members ; forum Y has 500 members; when importing the forum Y into forum X ; the 1st member of forum Y what userid will be become in forum X ? 1001 ?

Yes, the importer just adds new members to the database.
