Hi:
I just upgraded to 3.5, though am experiencing two problems with the wysiwyg editor. Firstly, whether you're starting a new thread or replying, the "attachment" drop down menu inside the editor returns a javascript error onmouseover (test account user: testaccount | password: testaccount). I've already tried reuploading the .js files in ASCII and converting the newthread/newreply templates to default, though still no go.

Also, under vBulletin Options-> Message Posting Interface Options, even though I've selected the last option (standard+wysiwyg) for all three controls, the editor still shows the drop down menus instead of the clickable buttons at the top, such as for the attachment menu.

Thanks for any help,

I can confirm your problem on your site but can't check on the developer site just now, post it in the bug tracker and someone may manage to check it before I do.

Thanks, I've posted it in the Bugs Tracker forum as requested. I'm curious though, so is this most likely a bug and not a problem with my installation? I guess I prefer the later so I can fix it asap, as everything lingers on this before I can continue with testing 3.5 and open the new board to the public.

Ok, I found a way to fix the problem, which in turn seems to suggest a bug. If I turn on the navbar DTHML menu, by going to

vBulletin Options->Style & Language-> Use 'vBMenu' DHTML Popup Menus -> Yes

then the wysiwyg interface works. If I turn it off, I get the dropdowns, and the attachment one for example returns a js error onmouseover.

Note: I've added this response to my bug tracker thread as well.
