I run a different forum and I'm thinking about moving to vBulletin.
On my current forum I can have users who have more access and more privilegies then others.
I do have this users in a different group, like:
normal user
and
paid user

I understand that I can have different groups on vBulletin as well, but can I have a different name color and a small icon next to the user name on each page his/her name appears?
it's some kind of trusted user, who the other ones should give more wheight on their opinioes then the 'normal user'.
So right now they do have this 'glow' on their names and the other users can identify their anwser right away.
Can I do the same with vBulletin?

All of that can be done with vB. However, I'd like you to know that the "glow" effect is IE-only, standards noncompliant (I belive), a bad idea, bla bla bla. But if you want, you can still do that.

I use the glow exactly as your describing for staff at my site. I'll get around to changing that someday because as TCM said, only IE supports it.

I'm try to use the DEMO option but I could not find a way to glow or change the name color of a group of users.
Would you mind to show me how can I do that?
If only IE works, I can have another way. I just want a way to show that user is 'special'...
