User Pasword

We have our BB set up to when a person registers instead of mailing the password to them we have it mail it to a hotmail account where we can review the username that the person wants to use and then forward the username and password if we accept their username. We require real names instead of handles on our board.

The UBB software is set up to generate a password for them when they first register. We also have it set up that the script sends this information to us and like I said we then forward this on to the member if we accept it.

So:

1) Can this BB be set up to generate a password for them instead of letting them chose which ones they sign up with?

2) Can this be mailed to us instead of to the member where we can then forward it on to them?

Exactly what you have there cannot be done with vBulletin out of the box. However, you have the option to moderate all new members before they can post - this lets them register and everything, but they cannot post until you give them permission to post.
