I'm trying to go for the clean, simple and vibrant look, but I don't want to go too simple or vibrant. Still need to do something cool in the header too.

Also something else that should be of note, I'm going to "experiment" with the layout a bit more when it comes to coding; try and get something a little more unique than standard vB.

One thing to keep in mind when designing in photoshop is never smooth out fonts that'll be actualy content on the page. You don't get a realistic portrayal of how the content will look on the page.

Also I'd drop the intensity of those drop shadows, they are far too strong for my liking :)

Check apple.com and aqua-soft.org for a bit more of an apple-y design.

You could try adopting some kinda glossy effect or those hoziontal lines, maybe.

It's not my intention to go for a 100% apple style clone, otherwise I would have done that already. I'll think about "glossing" the bars though.

I don't feel the shadows are too intense either, if I drop the intensity they just become a bit too washed out.

Looks nice. That text on the main site looks a bit wierd. Some letters are touching each other.
