I'm currently paying a lot for my server, and I'm thinking about switching. Has anyone ever heard of/had any experiences with http://host2own.com ?

I'm looking at two of their options, not sure which one would be better:

- RaQ4 Software
- MySQL Software
- MyPHPAdmin Interface
- 256 RAM - PC100
- DUAL 20 GB Hard Drives
- 450 MGhz Processor
- 100GB Data Transfer/Mo
- Setup Fee: $ 500

You pay only $300* per month and the server is your very own after 24 months.

*($200 for the Raid Appliance with unlimited Technical Support and $100 for 100 GBytes of data transfer)

Or this one:

- Pentium III 866Mhz
- Intel Motherboard
- 512 RAM PC133
-60 GB Ultra DMA HD
- Setup: $ 500

You pay only $250* per month and the server is your very own after 24 months.

* ($150 for the Linux Server with unlimited Technical Support and $100 for 100 GBytes of data transfer)

Thanks!

I've also found this hoster, but i also found some cheaper ones:

At http://www.4webspace.com i have now a RaQ3 ($99) with very good support. They handled every support-question in 1-2 hours. Even at Easter-Sunday! A Bandwidth of 100GB is included and a speed test brings it up to 400KB/s - so enough reserves..

The other one is http://www.rackshack.net Good ping speed and including 150GB transfer. This i will give the next try, after leaving cobaltrack.com

The last is http://www.cobaltrack.com here i have one RaQ4 (included 66GB Transfer) , but was very disappointed with transfer-speed and reachability - last Weeks often down for some minutes up to 1 Hour. Trouble-tickets, after 4 Days no response, only adverts for payable backup solutions. :( So i left them end of Mai.

All above is my subjective personal experiences. I'm not a part of this companies - only a customer searching for best service :)
