Confusion about imported_admin user and association

I'm converting from phpBB, conversion all works fine. I originally created the user stefaan as my admin when installing my VB test site.

Then I imported my phpBB forum and users, associated the phpBB user stefaan with the VB user stefaan which has ID 1.

However after the conversion I still notice that I have a user stefaan and a user imported_stefaan.

Shouldn't the imported_stefaan have been the admin user stefaan?

Not sure why that happened. Should I simply add the imported_one to the admin group, delete the VB one and then rename the imported one?

I just did something similar - I merged Imported_admin to admin (yes there's a "merge" function under "users" (i think) in the admin cp).

As per the howto you should NEVER associate your admin user during the import, always do it afterwards via the admincp.
