I really like what you have done here John!

A few suggestions that I would like to have:
I know that this is a "lite version" but I would love to be able to have user login in the lite version.
It would also be nice to have a similar database setup as the full version so that when I uppgrade to the full version in the future I will be able to keep all of my messages and users.
There are probably many users out there that want a forum like vbulletin but can't yet afford to buy it or that don't yet need all the nice features of the full version. Therefore if there is a uppgrade path to the full version, they could use the lite version until they can afford the full version.
There could also be a version that has the basic features, but not all the fancy admin features that could retail for i.e $35.

Just my input. Thanks again for a great BB.

Thanks for the suggestion. At the moment, we have quite enough to do keeping one product going, let alone two or more. The Lite version is only intended as a test to check that vBulletin will run on your server.

John: would you object to the Lite version being used on a live site? After all, if its only purpose wa to check for PHP/MySQL/email compatibility, you could've just zipped up the "extras" directory ;)

I help out with a few smaller sites, and think vB Lite is just right for them...but I don't want to step on any toes or break any rules.
