If you see this error next time, view the sourcecode of the page and copy the exact mysql error message which should be in comments.

What error do you get when trying to log in?

Did you re-import? is this a second import? Did you try clearing the imported data?

I Just purchased vBulletin 3 last week, its a first time clean import.

After i got that error, i can't login now to clear the import data.

I think i know what i did wrong, as i was seaching in this forum to see if anyone else had the same error, I associated my wowbb userID with my current vb3 admin userID.
I read i could do that after i finished importing, in the admin control panel.

Do i have to re-install vb3 and start all over with everything? Hopefully not, Please say no!

Probally, it would be the easiest way to fix things in the long run I'd think...

the other method you could do is upload tools.php to the admincp folder and use it to restore an imported accouint that you have access to admin status, or you can register a new account and do the same.

Thanks to you and Martin,

Making a new username and the tools.php solved the problem, i was able to finish my import properly, all seems to be working well now.

Thanks Again for your help!
