Stupid Question

I am about to do the import from phpbb 2.0.16 to vBulletin 3.07. Right now I have the phpbb forum running which has everything in it. My question is, when I do the import will my current running phpbb board with everything in it remain the same or will everything get sucked out after the import. Basically what Im trying to say is after the import to VBulliten will I have 2 indentical forums with all the same forums, users etc?

The import script will read and import the phpBB data into vB. It will not change, delete or overwrite the original phpBB data.
