is it possible to run Apache and IIS side by side without problems?
I have had some serious problems since starting up on that NT server and I want to set up a Beta forum on Apache and see if the problems are actually IIS related. I don't want to shut down my other site while I'm doing it, though....

You will probably have problems because web servers serve up their pages on port 80, and if you run two web servers on the same machine then one will not work.
You should be able to setup Apache to run on a different port just for testing. But again, I would say that Apache is designed to run better on Linux, but running it on NT maybe ok.

Just add a second IP address to your network card, and bind Apache to it.

I have 16 IP's :)
I was thinking if I used a differen IP it would work...
