Hello all,
I'm having a lot of problems with the mysql server from my host, but due to some reasons I cannot left it.
I'm asking for a hosting solution that includes php and mysql, and in wich i could connect to the database from other hosts.
I need an account that can support about 50-100 online users into the forums...
Any suggestion?
thx

This really isn't an option unless:
a) the new host is very co-operative
b) both hosts are in the same NOC/datacenter

I doubt many (any) hosts have it set up that way by default but I'm sure if you asked nicely they wouldn't be too worried about setting those permissions for you.

I have got an account on tera-byte, but i think for less than 10$/month they aren't going to change my setings... :(

You could try mailing a few hosts first to see if they will be willing to do it for you. Give these a try - they are run by nice people :) :
