i can probably only afford 1, maybe 2 new games this month because i owe people.

just so happens it's a month in which a few good games come out for the Xbox.

Which one would you buy?

I just beat Conker yesterday and while I loved the single player, the multiplayer left me wanting more. I beat it in 10 hours, fairly short for today's standards. San Andreas, however, I have been playing for weeks and about 5-6 missions away from beating it. Then after that, I'll be messing around for a few more weeks, then after that I'm going to mod it, then possibly go for 100%.

So San Andreas for me, although Conker was a hilarious (re-)experience

Before Destroy All Humans arrived, I would have said GTA:San Andreas.... but Destroy All Humans is even more addictive...and bloody funny too!

I have seen the review at television last night. It's all about killing isn't it? GTA:SA offers so much more (including whores ;)) :)

Destroy all humans is a really short game. And very easy aswell.. Yeah, it's funny, but so is GTA san andreas, but a different kind of humour. GTA is a very long game and some parts can be quite tough, but i'd say, that for your money, go for GTA, its a great game, that will give you hours of entertainment. You'll be lucky if Desroy all humans lasts you a week. I completed it in 2 days.

You mean San Andreas is like the vBulletin of the video game industry? lol

Either way, you're wrong... that honor belongs to Half Life 2 :D

i found half life 2 all graphics and no replayability.

like someone from bungie once said "it's no good having a game, where there's maybe 2 or 3 good moments in it, and keep repeating them. people want a game full of new good moments"

True, but it's more due to the way the storyline is written and the playing options. If HL2 had single-player bots or scenarios, then the replayability would be increased by a ton. Even more so if it had cooperative multi-player.

HL2, in its current state, is more of a platform for 3rd-party modifications. And CS:S. :p

I found it very replayable. There's multiple routes you could take to beat certain areas, the physics alone could create tons of replayability that no other game could touch (should I block the door with this couch and move on, or take out each of the guards?)

I haven't beaten it yet (I'm on the very last mission), but something dealing with turf wars will piss you off.

I'd much rather prefer playing Pong. In that game, at least, there was a clear and visible enemy: the right paddle.

In Pac-Man, you don't know who your enemies are. One second you're being chased, the next second you're chasing them.
