Well for some reason when I look at my board in NS 4.7 all of the links are blue. I figure it's a CSS problem as well as the redirects still have the white background. I noticed this forum everything looks snazzy so I know it can be done. Any suggestions? Thanks. :)

well i figured out the redirect template, by changing the standard redirect and standard error. i did notice that the css doesn't work on these pages. i wanted to have the text decoration turned off like in the main forum. for some reason everything is okay except in the secondary pages. the page that has the threads. see for yourself. i'm using a mac, NS 4.6 and this page is the only one that has the underline for the links and the default link colors. how can i change this?
it might help if you saw the forum. here it is.

please be aware i haven't done much editing. still working on the icons. :D
thanks.

anyone? also i notice the standard redirect and error templates don't include the css. for example i turned text decoration off and it continues to be there. to i have to embed the css again in these templates? i'm still trying to figure out why the css isn't working for the secondary pages. it only happens there in netscape.
please help!!!!

I went to an error page and the CSS was in the code. Although your HTML doctype was messed up...
It also appeared in a redirect message when searching.
(please note, I'm referring to the actual code)

thanks for the response. okay i actually fixed the standard redirect and the standard error pages. i checked it both on ie 5 and ns 4.7. and it works now! :D
seems like the problem now is still in the secondary pages (forumdisplay.php), where the threads of the forum appear. in ns 4.7 the links appear purple and blue. i've looked at the source code and i have no idea what could be causing this. the css shows up fine. this doesn't seem to be affecting ie 5. geez i hate netscape. any ideas?

okay. i narrowed it down to the template forumdisplaybit. i know because it seems that the moderators names with the link are fine and not turning blue or purple. which means the css stops working there. would it help if i posted the template code in here? please i've looked at this from every possible direction, it's driving me nuts. thanks.

Define a link color in your <body> tag (<body [...] link="#abcdef">)

i'd like to thank you in advance for taking the time to help me. :)
i've been really stumped on this entire issue and it's driving me nuts. i tried that option initially, even added the bg color, and all that jazz. but when i test it - it ignores the css. see i have the text decroation turned off. so when i add it in the body tag the underline shows up. do you think i should add inline css to the forumbits alone?

A lot of your tags aren't being closed in the right order, and you have random </a> tags here and there. Your specific problem can be fixed by going to the table row that defines the Thread, Thread Starter, etc. headings, and removing the extraneous </a> tags.

woohoo!!!! it worked!!!! thanks so much OneChance. :)
but now i notice it's happening in my footer in certain sections like the search. it only happens in the footer area, i checked the anchor tags and they look to be right. maybe you can spot something i can't. :D muchas gracias.

the only one that doesn't have this problem out of the five icons is memberlist.
